K&D Turnaround Services Ltd., founded in 2002 in Nisku, AB, specializes in providing customers with tower internals services, leveraging our team’s extensive knowledge and experience in the field. Our skilled team minimizes plant downtime and ensures the successful completion of your turnaround, following the schedule and ensuring safety throughout the process.

Rescue Services

Nearly all of our team is cross-trained for High-Angle and Confined Space Rescue. This allows customers to save on planning and costs, and provides added security. Our team is sufficiently trained and equipped to effect rescues in the unique space that exists inside a distillation column.

Confined Space Safety

We’re always working in confined spaces, and we know how to do it safely. K&D Turnaround Services has a comprehensive safety protocol for confined space entry that goes beyond legislated requirements. This means our safety monitors are always highly trained and ensure nobody enters a confined space unless it’s safe.

Safe Work at Heights

As our tower work usually involves working at heights, K&D Turnaround Services follows strict safe work procedures. This includes installing barriers on vessel platforms and utilizing tool tethers to stop the drop.

Supplied Air Equipment

K&D Turnaround Services is equipped with everything required for vessel entry under supplied air. This includes trained Air Technicians, bottle-carts, regulators, manifolds, hoses, and masks.

Atmospheric Testing

K&D Turnaround Services has a modern fleet of BW personal 4-head gas monitors. Additionally, our equipment includes continuous-draw monitors for confined space monitoring, and specialty testers for mercury vapour and benzene.
